Austin, Tex.— National Instruments makes it easier for users to integrate data acquisition, test and measurement, and industrial control by unifying the PXI open specification that defines a rugged, CompactPCI-based platform with NI’s SCXI high-performance PC-based signal conditioning and instrumentation system. Users can now choose from multiple industrial communication protocols, including RS-232/485, Ethernet, cAN, and FOUNDATION fieldbus. Using PXI image acquisition and motion control cards, the chassis is designed for inspection systems. Users can select from analog and digital plug-in data acquisition modules and SCXI signal conditioning with channel-to-channel isolation up to 300 V rms. www.ni.com National Instruments
