Version 1.12 of the Bedrock IEC 61131-3 integrated development environment (IDE) adds expanded browser visualization, a field technician interface (FTI), 64-bit multicore processing support and enhanced user security tools. It also includes Bedrock OSA View, a new option that enables developers to build and integrate process displays seamlessly with application and diagnostic variables. Users also can build secure local human-machine interface (HMI) and dashboard displays in the same application as the control code, without leaving the standard Bedrock IDE by installing client authentication certificates on select browsers. The IDE 1.12 environment also includes a new standalone field technician interface (FTI) that enables users to configure and upgrade Bedrock OSA hardware without requiring the full Bedrock IDE install, enhances application and controller file management and improves firmware visualizations.
