ITS Enclosures

Chicago, Ill.ITS Enclosures (Mt. Pleasant, Pa.), maker of the ‘icebox’ series of industrial, wall-mount enclosures, introduced a new suspension arm for a flat-panel display or computer. The product was first shown at National Manufacturing Week here.

Developed by Ergotron Inc. (St. Paul, Minn.), the NEMA 12-rated suspension arm attaches to posts, wall tracks, walls, machines, or enclosures. The arm holds up to 100 lb (45.5 kg) and can be easily adjusted for varied weights and ranges of motion. Monitor tilts +/- 10 degrees; monitor swivels 360 degrees; arm rotates side to side 200 degrees, and total vertical adjustment is 16 in (406 mm), with 22 in (559 mm) maximum reach. Extender arms of 18, 24, and 30 in. (457, 700, and 762 mm) are available. The arm can be easily integrated to almost any of the new ‘icebox’ series of enclosures to produce a highly functional operator interface.

Price for the arm is $1,100; with an 18.1-in. resistive-touch flat panel monitor and a 24x24x8-in. ‘icebox’ included, it’s $5,600.
