Industrial Encoder Corporation has introduced the Industrial Encoder IH810 Series, a low-profile incremental hollow shaft encoder for motion feedback in machinery, motors and drive systems with limited installation space.
The IH810 Series provides incremental feedback for motion control and speed monitoring applications. It is intended for OEMs, machine builders and system integrators. The encoder has an Ø81 mm housing and hollow shaft bores ranging from 15 mm to 30 mm (5/8 in. to 1 in.). It supports resolutions up to 5,000 PPR, Push-Pull (HTL) and RS422 (TTL) outputs, and supply voltages of 5 VDC, 4.75-30 VDC or 8-30 VDC.
The IH810 Series includes galvanic isolation for signal transmission in industrial applications. It is intended for installations with limited axial space behind the shaft, restricted mechanical clearances, compact machine layouts or direct shaft mounting requirements. Possible applications include small automation cells, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), conveyor drives, packaging machines, motors and drive systems.
