Mitsubishi Electric has announced the global launch of Mitsubishi GOT3000 human-machine interface (HMI) for manufacturing applications. The new platform is designed to support connectivity, usability and integration between factory equipment and higher-level information systems.
Manufacturing for HMI devices continue to expand as operations place greater emphasis on efficiency, real-time access to production data and integration with broader automation and IT systems. The GOT3000 is intended to function as both a machine interface and a connection point between production equipment and upper-level systems.
Connectivity and system integration
The GOT3000 supports industrial communication standards including OPC UA Client1 and OPC-UA Server and cloud connectivity. These functions are intended to support integration with information systems and factory automation (FA) devices.
The device includes a built-in web browser that allows users to configure and monitor equipment without a PC. It also supports NFC tag reading, USB-C connectivity, USB camera connection and built-in HDMI output. Support for network camera connectivity is planned for a future release.
For remote access, the GOT3000 includes encrypted communication, data encryption and built-in VPN capability. These features are intended to support centralized device management, remote maintenance and monitoring.
Engineering and controller compatibility
The GOT3000 uses Mitsubishi Electric’s existing screen design environment, with updates intended to support interface development and customization. The platform is also compatible with Mitsubishi Electric’s MX Controller, which combines motion and digital control functions in one system.
The device supports multiple connectivity standards, including the CC-Link IE TSN industrial network, as well as legacy systems. This is intended to allow use in a range of production environments.
Display and operator interface
The GOT3000 includes a high-definition display with support for up to 16 million colors. It uses a capacitive multi-touch touchscreen (PCAP) that supports gesture-based input such as swipe, pinch and tap functions.
The interface also supports dynamic frame animation and live video display through camera connection. Video can be recorded and displayed in real time. In the event of a malfunction, users can view recorded footage alongside the live feed to review operating conditions and support troubleshooting.
The GOT3000 will be available globally beginning in May 2026. Mitsubishi Electric positions the product for use in industries such as automotive, semiconductor, material handling and pharmaceuticals.
