AutomationDirect now offers STRIDE C6A CMR (Communications Multipurpose Riser) cables, Cat6a Ethernet cables with an outer foil shield and shielded RJ45 connectors designed to help reduce electromagnetic interference along the cable and at the connection points. The CMR rating allows the cables to be installed vertically in building riser shafts, making them suitable for industrial automation networks that extend through multiple cabinets or floors and are subject to applicable NEC and local building–code requirements. The cables are rated for riser pathways in commercial and industrial buildings and are available in various lengths. Each cable has a blue fire-retardant jacket and four shielded twisted pairs of 23 AWG solid copper conductors.
