Touch Int'l. to make touchscreens for U.S. Air Force

Austin, TX-Touch International Inc. announced Oct. 9 that the U.S. Air Force awarded it a contract to manufacture 17-in. analog resistive touchscreens for the military's Air Command and Control Center.

The touchscreens are engineered and manufactured through the company's Custom Solutions Center (CSC) in Austin, TX. Its engineering team has successfully produced this government specified product for more than 10 years, Mr. Woolstrum noted. "Meeting strict government delivery requirements was key to winning the contract and a successful Department of Defense site audit sealed the deal," he adds.
