MANUFACTURED BY HMS Networks

HMS Networks has introduced HMS N-Tron NT7000 Series, a managed industrial Ethernet switch platform for industrial networks that require fast recovery, time synchronization and support for rugged operating conditions. The series is designed for applications with increasing network speed and complexity, where uptime is important.

The NT7000 Series supports traffic pass-through in less than 7 seconds at startup and N-Ring redundancy with about 20 ms healing to help reduce downtime after network faults. It also supports hardware-based IEEE 1588 PTP for sub-microsecond time synchronization in applications such as motion control, robotics and other time-sensitive industrial systems.

For deployment and maintenance, the platform includes N-View 3 for switch and topology discovery, network health monitoring, firmware management and centralized IP addressing. A microSD card supports configuration backup and restore, and for EtherNet/IP environments, CIP messaging AOI and Faceplate are available to simplify controls integration.

The NT7000 Series is available in multiple configurations with copper and fixed-fiber options to fit different industrial network designs. The switches are housed in DIN-mountable all-metal enclosures and include redundant power inputs, surge protection and support for high shock, vibration and extreme operating temperatures.

The series is certified for industrial applications including UL Ordinary and Hazardous locations, ATEX, IECEx, IEEE 802.3, ODVA, marine, railway and rolling stock requirements.
