Data acquisition device for temperature and voltage sensors
Measurement Computing offers a new low-cost 24-bit multifunction USB DAQ.
Measurement Computing Corp., has released two new 24-bit USB DAQ (data acquisition) devices for measuring temperature and voltage. The USB-2408 Series offers 16 voltage or eight thermocouple inputs, plus eight digital I/O, and two counter inputs. The series provides up to 1 kS/s sampling, ideal for capturing low or medium speed signals. The company says that using a 24-bit ADC provides superior accuracy and noise performance. The USB-2408-2AO model also adds two analog outputs.
A range of software options are standard equipment, including TracerDAQ along with comprehensive support for Visual Studio and Visual Studio .NET, DASYLab, NI LabVIEW, and MATLAB. Measurement Computing’s DAQFlex open-source software framework, which provides support for MS Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems, is also included.
