Offered on all the company's switches with single mode fiber ports, these ruggedized devices are designed for plant-floor environments and carry UL, CSA (CUL), CE, Zone 2 (hazardous locations), and DNV (marine and offshore) ratings.

Offered on all the company’s switches with single mode fiber ports, these ruggedized devices are designed for plant-floor environments and carry UL, CSA (CUL), CE, Zone 2 (hazardous locations), and DNV (marine and offshore) ratings. Features include simple installation, deterministic control, and more than a million hours mean time between failures. Switches operate over a temperature range of -40 to 85 °C. An IP65 waterproof option is also available. Both ST and SC fiber transceivers are available. Distances beyond 40 km may be arranged.
