Moxa’s ioLogik E1200 line of remote input/output (I/O) modules features support for EtherNet/IP and a restful API. The ioLogik E1200 is designed as an alternative to expensive and proprietary I/O modules that can interface with IT systems. The Moxa ioLogik E1200 series is available with a wide range of input and output types, including voltage, current, digital, pulse, frequency, RTD, thermocouple and more. Existing owners can gain the additional functionality for free by downloading the new firmware and completing the online registration process. The firmware adds support for both EtherNet/IP and a restful application program interface specifically designed for IIoT applications that interact with cloud services. The ioLogik E1200 expands Moxa’s offering of EtherNet/IP communication products, which including Ethernet switches that can be managed on a SCADA network and EtherNet/IP gateways that allow communication with Modbus devices.
