AutomationDirect's Ethernet Basic and Ethernet Standard programmable logic controllers (PLCs) feature a built-in 10/100 Mbps Ethernet communications port for programming and Modbus TCP networking.
AutomationDirect’s Ethernet Basic and Ethernet Standard programmable logic controllers (PLCs) have been added to the Click line. Both PLCs are upward compatible with existing Click units and feature eight input points and six output points built in. The units are also available with 24 Vdc or 120 Vac inputs and dc or relay outputs and can be used as a complete PLC system. Both units feature a built-in 10/100 Mbps Ethernet communications port for both programming and Modbus TCP networking, plus one standard RS-232 serial communications port. The Ethernet Standard PLC unit has an additional RS-485 port. Click Ethernet PLC units also include a calendar/real time clock and battery backup for the internal SRAM and the battery allows data to be retained for five years. The Ethernet capabilities also allow run time edits, which means edits to the ladder project can be downloaded while the Click PLC keeps running.
