IBSS will integrate its Synapse Manufacturing system with Intellution Dynamics’ industrial automation software. “Intellution’s goal is to provide a foundation for automation solutions that enables leading industrial corporations to maximize enterprise performance for a competitive advantage,” says David Nelson, Intellution’s product marketing vp. IBSS’ Synapse Manufacturing manages customer orders, process efficiency, product status, and resource use information. SCADA data drive the product’s finite scheduling and resource allocation activities in real time, allowing detailed tracking of materials, maintenance of settings, and notification of events over which the SCADA systems have direct control.
