Opto 22 recently introduced Linux support for the Pamux I/O system. With the company’s new AC28 Linux driver, users and developers can integrate Pamux into Linux operating systems. The new driver creates immediate solutions for Linux control applications. Pamux is Opto 22’s parallel bus I/O communications system that allows computers to address up to 512 digital and analog I/O points. AC28 is offered with standard C source code for immediate use in applications, which is expected to ease migration from existing DOS applications to more modern operating systems.
