Cables for fiber-optic sensors

Omega's E32 series of shock and vibration resistant cables for fiber-optic sensors is designed to withstand higher temperatures and is designed for automotive and pharmaceutical industries.

10/19/2011

Omega introduced its E32 series of shock- and vibration-resistant cables for fiber-optic sensors. This CE compliant product can withstand higher temperatures (350 degrees Celsius/660 degrees Fahrenheit) and since the fiber optic cables only transfer light, they are unaffected by electrical noise. The E32 comes in through-beam or reflective sensing style to adapt to design requirements, are cut-to-length for custom field installations, feature side-view sensing heads for right angle detection and spot diameter lenses are available. The cables are designed for Automotive and Pharmaceutical industries. The E32 senses presence of parts in automotive assembly line, products on conveyors and cap in pharmaceutical packaging.
