AutomationDirect has added IDEM UGB-NET gate boxes for installation on machine guard door. The units include a solenoid lock and dual interlock mechanism for tamper resistance. Similar to standard gate boxes, these models support communication over the CIP safety protocol, allowing integration into compatible systems.
These boxes provide RFID-coded interlocking and machine control in one unit. They can hold guards closed with a force of up to 3,000N and can be used with delay timers to support safety requirements. The units include integrated machine control features such as an emergency stop button, three configurable illuminated buttons and five interchangeable colored lenses for different applications. They are available in right- or left- hand mount styles.
