Fieldbus Foundation chooses new director for Europe

To further expand its presence in the European measurement and control market community, the Fieldbus Foundation (FF) has appointed Dip.Ing. Henk van der Biezen as its new European operations director. He will manage the foundation's day-to-day activities in Europe, overseeing recruitment, member services, exhibitions, conferences, and marketing.

Austin, Texas — To further expand its presence in the European measurement and control market community, the Fieldbus Foundation (FF) has appointed Dip.Ing. Henk van der Biezen as its new European operations director. He will manage the foundation’s day-to-day activities in Europe, overseeing recruitment, member services, exhibitions, conferences, and marketing. Mr. van der Biezen is currently managing director of B-Con Consultancy for Industrial Automation BV; chair of the International Instrument Users’ Association; society leader and board member of the Netherlands section of the ISA, the international society for measurement and control; and vice chairman of Interkama-ISA/99’s conference organizational committee. His previous work experience includes 30 years with Exxon Chemical Holland Inc.
