Marshalltown, Ia.— Fisher Controls introduced its modular, self-monitoring RegFlo type RF100 and RF110 gas flow and pressure instruments on March 23, which enable remote gas flow measurements, and allow users to fine tune their distribution systems.

RegFlo technology acquires and stores flow and pressure data, and makes it available via computer link from each distinct regulator with a RegFlo instrument. This information can be used for gas load forecasting, system balancing and modeling, estimating pipeline inventory, and documenting unused systems capacity.

RF 100 fits 2- and 4-in EZR regulators, and Fisher plans to include all sizes of EZR and 1098-EGR regulators in the future. RF 100 is mounted is a remote location from the regulator on a pipe stand or wall mount, and can monitor up to three different line pressures.
