Orlando, Fla.— Invensys Energy Systems (Raleigh, N.C.) introduced several software and product improvements at the Cable-Tec 2001 show here on May 9. Designed to give network managers more monitoring and control capabilities, these enhancements include: Intergy SiteSure, products that provide centralized monitoring of inputs from remote sites; Intergy CellSure, a battery monitoring system that constantly informs operators of predictive battery faults; PowerManagerII software with Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) as a basis for communicating alarm conditions throughout a telecom network; and Intergy I/O modules, which are enhanced trafficking I/O modules that are part of Invensys Energy Systems’ SM30 and SM50 supervisory modules.
