Watlow’s F4T with Intuition temperature process controller is designed to provide intuitive navigation and screen personalization allowing channels, alarms, inputs, and outputs to be programmed with user-defined specifications for users in a variety of industries. The F4T features a 4.3-in. capacitive color touch panel with high resolution and graphical user interface (GUI) that provides customized control for demanding applications. It is scalable and offers a wide range of field removable I/O modules. This allows the unit to be configured into a multitude of applications, while integrating with the required hardware.
The F4T controller combines the functionality of multiple devices such as temperature PID, over/under temperature limit, power switching, math, logic, timers, and counters into one integrated system. The F4T lowers ownership costs, reduces design complexity and saves wiring time and panel space. The F4T features Watlow’s Composer graphical configuration PC software that connects with the controller via Ethernet. Composer is designed to speed up and simplify commissioning and archives and documents controller setup.
The F4T controller features algorithms for temperature, cascade, altitude, humidity and compressor functions, which lowers ownership costs, eliminates the need for separate discrete components, reduces complexity and simplifies ordering and installation. Other features of the F4T include a variety of communications options including Ethernet Modbus TCP and SCPI and EIA 232/485 Modbus RTU.
