Marion, Ind.— VIA Development has incorporated a wide array of user-requested features in Version 6.0 of its Electrical Controls Design software. Productivity improvements include a device locator that zooms to a device tag, change module addressing that allows “recycling” modules from earlier drawings, and setup wizards that speed project configuration. Also included are a module builder that helps maintain consistency by allowing users to modify existing I/O modules (or create new ones) and a coil/contact cross-referencing report. www.viadevelopment.com VIA Development Corp.
