Control Engineering 2020

Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), process and machine control systems, automation and instrumentation are among the topics Control Engineering will advance in 2020, a year that suggests perfect vision and hindsight, as we mark 65 years in September 2019.

Control engineering seeks self-optimization by virtue of the control loop: measure, decide, actuate and repeat. In this 65th anniversary issue, we reflect what developments are shaping the future of control engineering, as we look ahead, with clarity of vision, to 2020, with help from subscribers and other industry experts.

A word cloud of next year’s editorial calendar emphasizes key areas:

  • Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)
  • Process and machine control systems
  • Automation
  • Instrumentation.

Learn; share knowledge
