It is designed for applications where cutting and polishing of various materials produces a residue that settles over the operator station. The elastomeric material is chemical resistant, making the keypad equally effective in sterile environments.. The assembly includes Silver Cloud’s Flex/Touch membrane switch, which provides ESD shielding. Additional options, ranging from PC boards to special display windows and lenses or surface mount LEDs, can be incorporated as required. The assemblies are ideal for use in laboratory instruments, medical equipment, industrial systems, and various types of communication devices.
