Siemens Industrial Copilot wins Hermes Award 2025.
The Siemens Industrial Copilot has received the Hermes Award 2025. Presented by Deutsche Messe AG during the opening of Hannover Messe, the award highlights a product that demonstrates technological advancement with potential value to industrial operations.
“The Hermes Award is one of the industry’s highest honors for innovation. With the Siemens Industrial Copilot, we’re transforming how humans interact with machines. It’s about speed and simplicity. This will make the benefits of automation widely accessible, simplifying for instance machine code generation and making complex tasks easy and fast,” said Cedrik Neike, a member of the managing board of Siemens AG and CEO of Siemens Digital Industries.

Transforming industry with industrial-grade generative artificial intelligence
The Siemens Industrial Copilot is a generative artificial intelligence (AI) tool designed to support industrial workflows in areas such as design, planning, engineering, operations and services. It allows engineering teams to generate code for programmable logic controllers using natural language input, potentially reducing repetitive tasks and improving workflow efficiency. The tool may also help lower the likelihood of errors in complex engineering tasks, contributing to more consistent development outcomes.
