SIMATIC S7-4100 is a controller specially designed for use with the SIMATIC PCS neo process control system. This maintenance free (no fan, no backup batteries necessary) controller adds compact and powerful components to the hardware portfolio of the process control system. This uses 50% less power and is 30% smaller than the SIMATIC CPU 410-5H V10.1. Its mounting technology enables space-saving mounting of the CPU, the power supply module and up to 5 communications processors (CPs). The controller can be connected to PROFINET IO/Industrial Ethernet and PROFIBUS DP via interfaces of the CPU or plug-in CPs.
