PRODUCT INFORMATION

MANUFACTURED BY Honeywell

Honeywell introduced a hybrid industrial process-heating system that uses natural gas and electricity, aiming to reduce operating costs and emissions.

By automating heating controls, manufacturers can switch between natural gas and electricity for industrial heating to manage energy costs and avoid relying on a single fuel. Honeywell said its hybrid heating system is designed to integrate with existing equipment and can supply up to 30% of heating capacity from electricity. The system also offers predictive maintenance alerts and remote monitoring, giving operators more visibility into performance. Honeywell said it can be used in industries such as automotive, building materials, and food and beverage.

Facilities with on-site wind or solar generation, or battery storage, can use that electricity for heating to reduce emissions, where regulations allow.i
