This latest version of RTX simplifies development efforts requiring real-time networking features by including TCP/IP and a microWeb server, a useful function for supporting applications remotely. Other new networking capabilities of version 5.5 include support for IP multicast and additional Ethernet drivers. IP multicast support allows networking of RTX applications for more efficient intersystem communication and network bandwidth use.
