Balluff’s UltraFrame series is the latest in self-contained thru-beam sensor technology and is designed to solve problems many other sensors cannot. Balluff says the sensors offer reliable performance in an innovative package, and are the first ones to use in error-proofing, process monitoring, and general automation tasks in a number of environments. With the broadest selection of sizes, shapes, and light sources available today, there is an UltraFrame sensor for many applications, saving time, money, and headaches because one piece construction is always in alignment, easy to install, and without fiber optic cable hassles or routing of multiple power cords.

Four basic frame designs with multiple sizes to choose from and up to four application-specific light sources available to suit your design requirements. They have a repeatable non-contact sensing mode (thru-beam), and high level accuracy is available for complex sensing needs.
A Balluff PDF on UltraFrame includes application examples and related photos.
Balluff Inc. is at booth 921 at Design & Manufacturing Midwest , Sept. 22-24, 2009, Rosemont, IL.
