Redondo Beach, Calif.— Synetcom Digital Inc. has introduced the Wise system, designed to digitally transmit analog or digital sensor readings 1,000 ft or more, using an unlicensed digital wireless RF link to a site-central RTU/Logger/PLC. It replaces long runs of cable and creates a local RF Ethernet data acquisition environment.
Redondo Beach, Calif.— Synetcom Digital Inc. has introduced the Wise system, designed to digitally transmit analog or digital sensor readings 1,000 ft or more, using an unlicensed digital wireless RF link to a site-central RTU/Logger/PLC. It replaces long runs of cable and creates a local RF Ethernet data acquisition environment. Up to 32 remote Wise units, each reading analog/digital sensors, can be networked to one host unit. Each remote incorporates 4-20 mA, voltage style or RS-232/485 sensor interfaces and a radio transmitter.
