The 32nd annual Automation Fair by Rockwell Automation opens today, Nov. 6, at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center where Rockwell Automation and its partners offer more than 120 interactive exhibits, more than 325 sessions, more than 500 hours of training by more than 400 experts. More than 10,000 are expected to attend in four days.

Rockwell Automation opens its 32nd annual Automation Fair today at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, expecting more than 10,000 attendees for the Nov. 6-9 conference and exhibition. Rockwell Automation and its partners are expected to offer more than 120 interactive exhibits, 325 sessions and 500 hours of training by 400 experts.

The Rockwell Automation describes the conference as a “ecosystem of new ideas and technologies designed to optimize production, build resilience, drive sustainability and accelerate digital transformation.” Sessions targets automation technology professionals involved with nuts and bolts and code for discrete, process and hybrid manufacturing, operations professionals leading teams on the plant floor and the boardroom professionals overseeing manufacturing and facilities.

Automation Fair theme and session organization

Theme of this year’s event is “Discover what’s possible,” exploring “latest strategies for optimizing productivity, empowering people, building resilience, driving sustainability and accelerating transformation.”

Sessions are organized by custom tracks for executives, network and cybersecurity, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and machine builders, operations management process solutions and what’s new industrial automation and by the following industries: automotive and tire, consumer packaged goods, life sciences, process and energy transition, pulp and paper, semiconductor, warehousing and logistics, water and wastewater.

Thought leaders, product experts, partners and customers will share experiences in industry forums, partner solutions, customer voices, insights and education and product intro labs.

It also includes three keynote presentations, Tuesday through Thursday and off-site events.

Rockwell Automation chairman and CEO Blake Moret discussed the need for agile, resilient and sustainable manufacturing at the 2022 Automation Fair at McCormick Place in Chicago.
