Dayton, O.— Previously difficult-to-achieve accuracy in counting containers on a single-file conveyor line is now possible with Model CT1000 Series ultrasonic counting sensor. As a result of the sensor’s dual-transducer design, this accuracy is maintained even in the presence of line stoppages and reversals as well as container agitation or “dithering.” The sensor operates at line speeds up to 2,000 items/min. Containers can be of any shape, color, or style, and sized from 1- to 12-in. dia. The sensing range, to the inside of the pass-line rail, is 2 to 2.75 in. CT1000 operates on 15 to 24 V dc and features protection ratings of IP67 and NEMA 4X. www.hpsensors.com Hyde Park Electronics Co.
