Software Toolbox (Charlotte, N.C.) recently announced a partnership allowing it to license software technology for linking Visual Basic to OPC servers from Siemens Energy&Automation (Alpharetta, Ga.). In other news, Afcon Control and Automation Inc. (Schaumburg, Ill.) and Software Toolbox announced Jan. 17 an arrangement allowing Afcon to bundle Software Toolbox’s Symbol Factory software with Afcon’s P-CIM SCADA/HMI software.
