M100 direct drive motors significantly reduce product costs while increasing energy efficiency, flexibility and performance. They feature a unique electromagnetic motor technology to provide wide adjustable low speed and high torque capabilities to eliminate the need for a gearbox in applications such as conveyors, fans, pumps and packaging equipment.

In comparison to M100 direct drive motors, conventional motor/gearbox drive systems use 60% to 80% efficient motors with 50% to 80% efficient gearboxes to provide usable torque and speed. The net efficiency of these combinations usually results in 30% to 64% nominal efficiencies.

M100 direct drive motors provide 92% efficiency usable torque and speed at the output shaft since there are no gearbox losses. This higher efficiency can reduce losses by 60 to 80%, which translates to energy savings.

These compact and lightweight motors can provide output speeds from 0 to 1700 rpm, output torques from 62.4 in. lb. and 0.71 hp ratings. In addition to their standard enclosure, they are available for washdown applications with food grade bearing lubricant, smooth, fin-less IP67 enclosures and white epoxy paint.

They are UL listed and RoHS Compliant.

M100 direct drive motor technology increases reliability by eliminating troublesome gearboxes and the associated cost of maintenance and downtime. Since these motors have wide speed and torque ranges, one direct drive motor replaces several motor and gearbox combinations reducing inventories and simplifying operations.
