To facilitate adoption and broaden the application capabilities of the SynqNet industrial networking protocol, Danaher Motion and other SynqNet suppliers jointly launched the SynqNet User Group at the recent SPS/IPC/Drives fair.
The group is seeking to ensure ease-of-use and interoperability of SynqNet industrial networking products for end-users and OEMs by educating system and design engineers on how to use SynqNet’s architectural and technological advantages. SynqNet User Group is open to machine builders, end-users, and product developers. A developer’s tool kit, application training, and interoperability testing are available.
“SynqNet’s early adopters have clearly benefited from the technical and commercial advantages of this architecture,” says Phil Strong, SynqNet User Group’s president. “Rapid growth of SynqNet installations in 2004 signals that the technology is ready for prime time, and the user group’s purpose is to educate design engineers and help them use and develop SynqNet systems and devices.”
